Injection Instructions

1. Collect your supplies: syringe and alcohol wipes.

2. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

3. Prepare your medication along with alcohol wipes.

4. Clean the injection site properly.

5. Administer Semaglutide or Tirzepatide at the selected location

Syringe Disposal

To safely dispose of the syringe you can either return it to the

office, or....

1. The best way to dispose of sharp medical supplies like needles, syringes, and lancets (“sharps”) is by placing them into an FDA-cleared sharps container.

2. If you don ’t have access to an FDA-cleared sharps container, you can use a sturdy container that can ’t be punctured. One example is a laundry detergent bottle.

3. States, cities, and neighborhoods may have their own rules for needle and sharps disposal.
